Q: How much does it cost?
It’s abosultey FREE for you. You receive your ticket sales in full. A small fee is charged to your guest when they purchase their ticket. For example a $10 ticket will carry a 99¢ fee. Additional tickets will have a lower fee applied. The majority of this fee simply covers the banking transaction.
Q: How often do I collect my sales?
Each time you sell 50 tickets you'll receive an automated payout. You’ll also receive a final payout after your social covering any outstanding ticket sales. Please note that the transfer can take 4-7 days to be processed. Access your account at any time to get an overview of your payout status.
Q: How do I get paid?
You’ll receive an automated interac e-transfer payment from hitup.social. Interac e-transfers are instant deposits to your account, that are cost free, and accepted by all major banking institutions.
Q: How do tickets work?
When a guest buys a ticket to your social, an automated txt message is sent with their ticket! (It’s really cool). They can save the ticket to their phone — or just keep the txt — and bring it up at the door. If for any reason the txt message is not delivered, it will be emailed to them. Keep in mind, if you'd still like to sell some traditional paper tickets, that's absolutely not a problem.
Q: What about guest lists?
Your guest list is available to you online at any time. When it comes time for the big day, simply print out the list, or better yet, save some trees and use an iPad or laptop at the door! Each ticket sent out to your guests has a ticket number, this makes it easy to quickly find your guest on the list as they arrive.
Q: So is this whole thing secure?
You bet. Any and all information is encrypted at all times. We do not store any transactional data, and payments are proccessed by a 3rd-party industry-recognized payment processor. (ie. we use the same safe and secure technology all online stores use)
